Take care of yourself and your problems will work themselves out. So many times people in our society gives us superficial advise such as you should focus on your career or your education. This type of advise is not going to help a alcoholic. We need to take care of ourselves so we can handle the low points that lie ahead and not be useless when they happen.

Yes my goal is joy. Joy is a gift that we have been given and we experience that not by our external achievements. Joy is an internal state and experienced by how we are thinking. When no experiencing joy we need to examine our thoughts. Great post

Yorinda, What a great post! I like how you say, if your feelings don’t feel as good as you want them to,
find a thought or something to do that makes you feel a little bit better.” I think too many people don’t work to achieve joy or fix negative feelings or emotions. Life is best lived when it is lived with joy and taking time to enjoy all of the little simple pleasures. Thanks for sharing this!

Joy is the nectar of life. Without joy we are an empty vessel, aimless and lacking spirit. It is so true that if you are not experiencing joy, it helps to run a clip of a happy time in your mind. That will help to reset your focus. Thanks for the joy of sharing your post:)
