The Law of Attraction responds to our thoughts and feelings.

Thinking, reading and hearing the thoughts we want to focus on makes a powerful combination for this reconditioning process.

Thoughts turn into feelings, beliefs and then into vibrations which then attract what we have been focusing on.

The more we believe it, the more we feel it and then we attract more of what we feel, believe and think.

Affirmations and power words help us to turn goals into reality.

If we want to set smart goals we can look at what we don’t want and turn it into what we do want.

You can use the voice recorder to record your affirmations, which can then play in the background of you visual, moving images on the Vision Board.

The audio version of your affirmations combined with music can be a powerful combination of emotion and inspiration, which means you will attract what you want faster.

You could create all this with Windows Live Movie maker.

The Potential of New Year’s Resolution

Dream Vision GoalDo you want to (re)program your Mind so it can bring you more Abundance, Success and Well Being in the New Year?

Most of you know about Affirmations and probably have used them.

Have they worked as much as you would have liked them to?

New Year’s Resolutions and Affirmations do have the Potential to create a better future.

Here is something I learned from John Assaraf’s book “The Answer“.

“We have a Reticular Activating System (RAS) which is a like a fine netlike structure.

It filters anything we hear, see, feel, taste and smell and matches it with patterns already are in our brain.

It does this 800 times faster than our conscious brain can function.”

So if there is no pattern in our brain of the abundance or success we want

a ‘thermostat’, setpoint kicks in, and sabotages us, stops us from moving

out of our not so comfortable comfortzone.

A personal example of this:

Like most people, I would like to be successful and have more Abundance in my life.

When I explored my resistance to having this by writing I included my inner child and asked her how she felt about Success.

She told me that she didn’t like success and money, because she felt all that mattered to her parents was that.

My foster mother(Mama) from the age of 3 1/2 to 7 was warm, caring , loving and peaceful. She had the nickname Jaja (Ja = Yes in German).

Mama took care of the home the gradens and the few animals. This was a small farm in the country.

At the age of 7 my birth parents took me to their new home. My father was only home some of the weekends because of work.

My mother, meaning well, focused on me being good at school. I never was good enough for her.

So success and money to me meant being alone and unimportant and emotionally barren.

My comfortzone is a simple lifestyle with plenty of time and quality relationships.

I have uses Affirmations in the past and did find they helped up to a point.

To make the affirmations and resolutions work we need to reprogram our thinking

in a way so that our set point/thermostat of our brain doesn’t sabotage us.

This reprogramming involves repeated visualisation in combination with affirmations,

which result in the new feeling.

To help that process we can use Vision Boards.

These can be in the form of a poster on the wall, a wall paper on your desktop and/or a video. Tools like Publisher, GIMP(free Graphic Image Manipulation Program), Windows Live Movie Maker, Audacity can help with the digital version of a Vision Board.

Good IdeasDoing something about good ideas and turning them into abundance would be ideal.

Do you have times when ideas come into your head and you are excited about them?
But then ‘things happen’ and a while later you wonder what the idea was, or how come you didn’t do anything about it?

When I meditate in the morning I seem to have some interesting ideas come up.
Sometimes I write them down.

Even though they seem good ideas, most days I don’t do anything about them.
Does that mean the time is not right? Do I need to know what it means?

Humans are meaning making machines.

The time I spend thinking about ‘how come that…’ or ‘why is it…’ could be spend asking questions like:

  • How can I?
  • What would the best thing for me to do right now?
  • What do I have the most energy for?
  • What would I feel good doing?

Ok, this applies for the days or times in my days that are free time for me to use.
I do know that when I feel good I am more likely to attract more of what I want into my life.
So, if I use my free time doing things that feel good then I am going to be more likely to work more efficiently on what I have to do.

The following quotes may explain this further in regard to abundance:

“The fastest way to get to an improved financial condition is to look for pleasing things that you already have,
for in the seeking and finding of that which is working, more success will come – and it will come quickly.” (p. 50)

“Anytime you are feeling good, no matter the reason, you are accomplishing the feeling of abundance:
and in your absence of resistance, everything that you have asked for is making its way right to you.” (p. 58)

Dream Vision GoalDo you allow your Imagination free range?

Are thoughts of ‘what if’ and ‘but’ interrupting the free flow of your imagination?

How long do you stay focused on visualizing what you want? A few thoughts, a few seconds, a few minutes?

Do you get a clear picture? Can you see in your mind’s eye what you want?
Can you get into what it would feel like to have what you imagine?

This week the Powerball in the Lotto has reached the Jackpot of 20 Million.

A friend and I decided to sketch out our ideas of what we would do with 20 Million.

We both had a big piece of paper and coloured felts. It was good to bounce off thoughts with each other to get our imagination flowing.

We ended up with philanthropy, investment, holidays, car, houses, splashing out and possibilities ideas on our big sheet.

It was good to just do it for the fun of it and to imagine what it would be like. It also felt good to know we had a plan, to know how we would use the money.

Here are some questions to consider to help with that:

What would it be like to have what you want?

When did you feel good about something?

Wouldn’t it be nice if ….. (that happened)? Wouldn’t it be nice if people enjoyed staying at the Well Being centre.

Do you use Meditation?

Meditation helps us to connect with Source Energy and infinite possibilities.

Do you count your Blessings? Do you look for the good things in your life, do you write them down? When we do that, we tune into the frequency of abundance.

I have learned that where I am at in my life is perfect for me. And it is getting better all the time. I may win the 20 Million and I also know that the most important aspect of this exercise for me is that I am tuning more and more into the frequency of abundance. My life is getting better all the time and in the process I am feeling better and better every day.

Making peace with what is has been a valuable lesson.

As long as we remember: We choose our Thoughts which create our Feelings which affect our Vibration which attract our Reality.

Why is it important to be aware?

Awareness gives us the opportunity to:

  • Consciously choose
  • Respond instead of react
  • Choose better feeling thoughts
  • Being in the now
  • Enjoy life more
  • Increase our sense of Well Being
  • Appreciate the Abundance
  • Think before we speak
  • Have more harmonious interactions with others
  • Understand ourselves and others more
  • Live and work more effectively
  • Change non-beneficial habits

Ask ourselves many times a day: ‘Am I aware?’
(Rhonda Byrne suggested this in her book “The Secret“.)

Stick post it stickers around the house, in the car, at work which remind us.

Set the intention to be more aware.

Include Awareness in the daily affirmations:

  • More and more am I aware.
  • I love the thought of being more aware.
  • I remember to be more aware.
  • My awareness is increasing every day.

The Answer to that question may vary from person to person.

Maybe you haven’t really thought about it?

Or you may sort of know but it is more gray instead of black and white?

When we know why we want something and

then it is more likely to happen.
