More Exposure and Comments

for Your Blog Posts through B3 (Former TSA)

TribeTSA Mastery now renamed to Biz Blogging Buzz (B3) has made a big difference in my blogging experience.

When I started out with writing Blog posts I occasionally had someone commented on my posts and I was really excited about it.

Like most people on the Internet with a Website/Blog I wanted more exposure and comments and for my blog to be found on Google.

Through someone’s post I came across the TSA/ Biz Blogging Buzz (B3).

One of the deciding features of the TSA/B3 for me was that it is free.

I also liked that this community has members who committed are to commenting on and sharing each other’s content via Social Media.

The Biz Blogging Buzz provides tutorials on how to be an active member of the B3, and it also has tutorials teaching how to use Social Media sites and Internet tools like Stumbleupon, Digg, and more.

I learned how to leave valuable comments instead of just ‘Great post!’.

Through reading the posts of the members of the B3 I learned about all sorts of aspects of Internet Marketing. I also came across many interesting, inspiring posts, and technical ‘how to’ and health and wellness information and videos.

Since the TSA platform for sharing includes a point system and awards the top commentator and top syndicator I learned that I have a bit of a competitive side and enjoyed achieving both top positions a few times.

The generosity in the B3 community is astounding.

There are many definitions of ‘Syndication‘,

The one which applies to the B3 the most is:

“An association of people formed to engage in an enterprise or promote a common interest.” The Free Dictonary

Kimberly Castleberry is at the ‘helm’ of the community and has provided lots of posts and tutorials, not only for the B3 but also about technical ‘how-to’, Facebook and many more. It would require a whole blog post to mention them all.

All of them have been continuously working on improving the B3 information for it’s members and they are also available on the B3 Facebook group for question.

It is also great to see some of the community members stepping up to help with some of the tasks.

Some of the results I got from being part of the B3:

  • more comments
  • my posts being shared on i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon
  • my Google and Alexa Ranking improved
  • my posts show up on page 1 on Google even in the first spot at times

There is so much more that could be said about the B3.

I highly recommend to try it for yourself. After all it is free!

To join the B3 and get started go to the Biz Blogging Buzz and learn how you too can get more Exposure and Comments.

Dream Vision Goal
A Vision Board is a powerful tool for helping you to make you
dreams become a Reality.

Creating and looking at a Vision Board helps with focusing on your Goals and Dreams.

This focus also helps to activate the Law of Attraction to work in the direction of your Vision.

According to Marcia Layton Turner when we convert a thought into a picture/Vision Board it activates the reticular formation in the brain. “The reticular formation is a group of nerve endings located primarily in your brain stem. They are responsible for, among other things, alertness and awareness. When you activate it, you make it almost hyperaware of your goals and dreams, which can help you spot opportunities you didn’t notice before.” Page 75 The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Vision Boards by Marcia Layton Turner.

Have you created a Vision Board Poster in the past with pictures from magazines, scissors and glue? It can be a lot of fun.

You could create a vision board on the computer with GIMP (a free Graphic Image Manipulation) or Publisher or even turn it into a Movie with Windows Movie Maker.

Fruit and Vegetable statueIs your body absorbing our food properly?

Are toxins eliminated or re-absorbed?

What interferes with our Digestion?

What does our digestion tell us about our thoughts and attitude?

What can we do to help our body to have optimum digestion?

Understanding the Process of Digestion

(Assimilation and Elimination)

How is the food broken down for Absorption?

First the food needs to be broken down through:

  • chewing,
  • enzymes from the saliva
  • acids and enzymes in the stomach
  • bile from the liver (dissolving fats)
  • enzymes from the pancreas

The food then gets absorbed in the Small intestine covered by an area of 200 sq meters of villi. If these villi are clogged with ‘debris’ from refined food and/or not enough fiber, the absorption of the nutrients from the food is compromised.

Large Intestine

Over 300 different types of good bacteria (billions) break down the food so more nutrients can be absorbed.

Detoxification process

What kind of toxins?

  • Resulting from the metabolic process
  • Food additives,
  • Pollution
  • Insecticides
  • Pesticides
  • Drugs
  • Alcohol
  • Micro-organisms

Normal Elimination of Toxins:

  • the blood takes the toxins to the liver
  • bile carries them to the Gall bladder
  • taken out with solids left after assimilation

For the Detoxification the Liver needs nutrients,

some of them are:

  • Antioxidants
  • Vitamin B, C, E
  • Carotenoids
  • Folic Acid
  • Amino acids
  • Phytochemicals (i.e. garlic, cruciferous vegetables)
  • Glutathione

Re-absorption of toxins

When food doesn’t contain enough fiber it moves too slowly through the bowel and toxins get re-absorbed.

What kind of Fiber do we need for optimum Digestion?

Insoluble Fiber:

  • Adds bulk to the food and absorbs water
  • Speeds transition time
  • Leaves you feeling fuller

Soluble Fiber:

Acts like a sponge attaches to toxins in the bowel and so they get carried out with the remaining bulk, hence no re-absorption.

Digestion and Feeling Good

Dr. Isaac Eliaz in his article:It’s All in Your Gut! How to Enhance Mood, Immunity and More Through Digestion says:

“The neuro-endocrine system (branches of the hormonal and nervous systems that work closely together) also plays an important role in digestive and overall health. Your gastrointestinal system is the most abundant source of regulatory neurotransmitters and neuro-peptides outside the brain. An example of this is the fact that serotonin, one of the brain’s chemicals that influences mood, actually has its highest concentrations in the gut.”

Gluten can interfere with absorption:

“When people with celiac disease eat foods or use products containing gluten, their immune system attacks the small intestine. The tiny, fingerlike protrusions (called “villi”) that line the small intestine are damaged or destroyed. The villi normally allow nutrients from food to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Without healthy villi, a person becomes malnourished, regardless of the quantity of food eaten.”

From : National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse

“However, in an animal study published in the February 1998 edition of the “Pediatric Allergy and Immunology” journal showed, damage to villi might begin as early as three hours after exposure to a food allergen, with atrophy occurring in as few as 24 hours.”

From: How fast does gluten destroy the villi?

What can we do to help digestion?

  • Add more fiber to our diet
  • Eat lots of vegetables and fruit and little meat
  • Eat pro-biotic food (yoghurt, fermented food, i.e. sauerkraut
  • Apple cider vinegar (1 table spoon in a glass of water)
  • Add a high quality fiber to our regime
  • Re-populate the healthy bacteria with a good probiotic
  • Provide nutrients to assist the liver with de-toxing
  • Prevent re-absorption of toxins (soluble fibre)
  • Eat sweet potatoes (can help with eliminating heavy metals)
  • Avoid Gluten
  • Keep a positive attitude

Coconut flour is 61% fiber.

Gluten free on a Shoestring website

According to “The Body is the Barometer of your Soul” by Annette Noontil

the different part of our digestive system have the following correlations to Attitude:

Stomach – Understanding

Liver – Learning

Small Intestine – Positivity – Empathy Knowing Honesty in Business

Large Intestine – Loyalty to Self – Generosity, Openness, Relaxed

If you have these qualities for yourself you will then have them for others

There is so much more to digestion this post has only scratched the surface. Read more about digestion.

Kitten on KeyboardDo you want to make your time on the Computer and Internet more efficient?

Keyboard shortcuts can help with that.

When you create a new blog post or content you can use the following:

Function Windows Mac Mouse
Copy Ctrl C Command C Right click select copy
Paste Ctrl V Command V Right click select paste
Cut Ctrl X Command X Right click select cut

The Key for Undo is Z

You can do the same with Bold (b), Underline(u) and Italic(i).

Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts

The Chrome Browser (it is free) seems to be a lot quicker and no jumbled format,

and once you filled in any form your details will be there to choose from as soon as you type the first letter. This means less typing.

The Law of Attraction responds to our thoughts and feelings.

Sunrise with pink cloudsAffirmations can help establish new neural pathways through repetition of chosen thoughts.

Thinking, reading and hearing the thoughts we want to focus on makes a powerful combination for this reconditioning process.

Thoughts turn into feelings, beliefs and then into vibrations which then attract what we have been focusing on.

The more we believe it, the more we feel it and then we attract more of what we feel, believe and think.

Affirmations and power words help us to turn goals into reality.

Click here to read my article on Affirmations.

If we want to set smart goals we can look at what we don’t want and turn it into what we do want.

You can use the voice recorder to record your affirmations, which can then play in the background of you visual, moving images on the Vision Board.

The audio version of your affirmations combined with music can be a powerful combination of emotion and inspiration, which means you will attract what you want faster.

You could create all this with Windows Live Movie maker.

Another option is to us the free Success Vision Board App created by Jack Canfield. The video below shows how that can be done.

Milford SoundLaw of Attraction works for us to create our dreams when we emanate the frequency of what we want.

With other words: When our thoughts are combined with feelings then we are vibrating what we want.

Including Music and Voice Recordings in our Vision Board can help generate the feelings = Activation of Law of Attraction.

The last three posts covered why a Vision Board is effective in helping us to make our dreams become a reality with the use of affirmations and power words and images.

When we combine the words/affirmations with the feelings amplified through images, music and spoken words we have a powerful tool to make our vision come true.

“There is a gold mine, in your goal mind!” Denis Waitley

Our state of mind is affected by music and feelings are triggered and an Emotional Bond gets established with our Vision.

“Where words fail, music speaks.” Hans Christian Andersen

Music can make us feel energized, uplifted even motivated.

Some music may bring up a memory.

For me ‘The song for guy’ by Elton John always reminds me of seeing New Zealand for the first time from the airplane and experiencing this euphoric feeling of falling in love first sight with the country. When I arrived the second time to live here the song played again when the Airplane was landing. So the song evokes a feeling of joy, excitement and euphoria for me.

Your choice of music for your Vision Board is probably a very personal one and it may vary for each board depending what it is about.

Recording your own affirmations is possible with a voice recorder or Audacity(a free software allowing mixing). You can have the music and your spoken affirmations (or some of your favourite motivational speaker) play simultaneously and you can adjust the volume to have one louder or more quiet than the other.

Or you could just have music or spoken words as background sound.

The options for sound for your Vision Board are:

  • Only Music
  • Only Spoken words (i.e. affirmations or inspirations)
  • Music with spoken words equal sound
  • Music louder than spoken words
  • Spoken words louder than music
  • Two types of music (and/or include binaural beats)
  • No sound

Including binaural beats in your sound can have a very powerful effect because it can help with the reprogramming of the neural pathways by connecting the left and right brain. To find out more about the science behind binaural beats check out the following link.

How to sent people Timezone info for Events

Event time announcerA lot of times I got an email saying that the event is PST or some other Timezone.
In New Zealand we are not familiar with all these variations and sometimes it took me a while to find out when that time was for me.

Thanks to Mari Smith’s link to her free Webinar on Relationship Marketing.

I found out how to sent a link to people which sends them to the world clock with all the timezones specific to the time of the Event.

Here is how you can do this (for free):

Go to: Time and Date

Click on Word Clock and then click on Event Announcer

this will take you to the Set up page

Event time announcer setup

Enter you time etc. and click ‘Show results’.

Here is an example of a ‘mock up’ event:

Time announcer results

This is one of the easiest way to know the time when the event is on anywhere in the world.
I hope this helps other people too.
